For the Finnish season in France in 2008, Grafia and the Lahti Poster Museum have compiled a 100-year retrospective of graphic design and advertising art in Finland. Since 1980, a jury appointed by Grafia, the Finnish equivalent of France’s Club des Directeurs Artistiques, has awarded annual prizes for excellence in graphic design. The opening section of the exhibition presents the first and second prizes for 2007 in each category : visual identity, publications, press advertising, non-media publicity, advertising films, radio advertising, poster design, photography and multimedia illustration. The second section of the exhibition is a chronological presentation of 100 years of Finnish poster art.
