Worldometers - Blog Action Day !

Today is Blog Action Day so we will talk about a very important matter: environment.

Worldometers is managed by a team of developers and researchers with the goal of making world statistics available in a thought-provoking and time relevant format to a wide audience around the world. The Chief responsible for the project is currently Sir Thomasson.

Sources are carefully selected to include only data published by the most prestigious institutions in the world, such as the United Nations, the World Health Organization, the Food and Agriculture Organization, its data branch FAOstat, the OECD and others. Data is updated periodically as new reports are made available.

The counters are based on a Java script code that processes the latest statistical data available, estimated progression, and latest major developments, bringing it down to the second. The algorithm is processed based on your time on your PC. If you change the date on your PC you will be able to check the numbers at a specific point in time. As with any statistical data, numbers are not a 100% accurate reflection of the phenomenon, but they nevertheless provide an informative description of it.
